This position has procurement responsibility for over $70MM of in-store merchandising and $41MM of distribution products and services for the U.S. -In addition, the position is responsible for sales contracts with re-distributors / customers of Kraft.- Leads strategic sourcing for third party logistics providers that manage Kraft distribution / mixing centers throughout the U.S. , while delivering productivity savings, improving network efficiencies, and meeting quality and service expectations across all business areas.- Responsible for developing strategy for filled ISM business and supporting distribution strategy, as well as leveraging opportunities and managing risks in support of ISM, Distribution, and overall business needs.- Position is responsible for managing 9 distribution suppliers at 11 DCs and Buffer locations as well as suppliers for 9 in-network and external ISM platforms across existing and emerging channels.- Responsible for ensuring compliance with Kraft Policies & Controls.- Works closely with internal stakeholders to manage overall business relationships and strategies with key suppliers.- Works closely with key cross-functional representatives from the business units and at senior levels within the organization in support of strategies, growth initiatives and total cost contributions.

  • Provides strategic direction and planning.- Develops strategy for IMS commercialization services and supports and contributes to Distribution strategy that leads to optimal sourcing for ISM Distribution, and overall business strategies.-

  • Organizational leadership.- Leads and participates in cross-functional teams to achieve alignment and support to achieve key deliverable results for the business.- Is viewed as an expert by stakeholders

  • Drives financial planning & cost management.- Supports ISM and Distribution in the development and implementation of short and long-term plans that improve customer service, deliver significant cost reductions, and lower inventories, and improve cash flow.

  • Manages overall business relationships with suppliers. Maximize the value of the supplier relationships to drive incremental value and ensure contract adherence.- Enables cross-functional team to manage supplier's service performance, develop supplier capabilities, and reduce costs through the establishment of Key Performance Indicators, expectations of continuous improvement, and fact based feedback.

  • Stakeholder alignment. Establish and maintain strategic alliances with key internal and external stakeholders focused on innovation and total cost and service solutions.- Provide category expertise for industry dynamics including economic/market conditions, complexity of supply chain structure / operation and contingency plans to address industry and business changes.- Leverage local, regional and global sourcing strategies to form partnerships with strategically critical suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics or related preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Procurement demonstrating proven career growth

  • Proven Expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Optimization, Negotiating and Contracting

  • At least two years background in Logistics

  • Advanced knowledge of strategic sourcing process improvement and creative solutions to conceive, communicate and lead the development and-implementation of a wide variety of strategies and productivity initiatives in support of all key CS&L and company-wide initiatives.

  • Results driven with proven ability, composure and judgment in consistently making cost effective decisions on a timely basis by utilizing others to deliver systemic and sustainable improvements in a quality manner despite obstacles.
